Sick & Compassion

Still sick with this URI. I got Chris and Jenny sick, too. Gah! If only I could catch my breath. I did a breathing treatment, which worked very well for about 30 minutes, but have been struggling ever since. I can only do them every 4-6 hours, so it’s going to be a long few hours. (It took me hours to get this post written, so rest assured, another treatment has been done!)

I’m working on being a bigger Twitter person, which is fun. Finding new people around the world is awesome. I’ve been back and forth with Twitter (and tumblr, for that matter), but I can really see it being something I’d like to keep up with for the future, in many aspects.

I was thinking about the New Year, and 2010, and what I accomplished in 2009. As I Twitted:

Reflecting on 2009, the best thing I did was (finally) sponsor a child through @compassion. Hoping to add another (or more!) in 2010! :)

And it’s true. I’ve wanted to sponsor a child back when I was still a child. I used to watch the specials in the 80’s, and beg my parents to let me sponsor. My grandfather sponsored two children, and I loved to see their photos and letters.

There’s much I hope to accomplish in 2010. But I’ll do that post shortly.
